Want to learn what it’s really like to be a Bozeman Police Department officer? Spring 2026 is our nineteenth Citizens Police Academy. Participants will spend eight weeks exploring our team’s work, including SWAT gear and techniques, crime scene investigations, and the daily experiences of patrol officers and detectives. This hands-on program gets participants into the thick of the action and connects our officers with the community they serve.

Citizens Police Academy meets from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday nights from March 26 to May 14.
