DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Arbor Day is Friday, April 25!&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Forestry Division, in collaboration with Gallatin Watershed Council, is hosting an Arbor Day tree-planting event on <strong>April 25 at noon at Oak Springs Park</strong> (corner of Renova Lane and Yellowstone Ave). All are invited to attend and participate!&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Did you know?&nbsp;</strong>Bozeman has been a recognized as a Tree City US for 31 years. To be considered, cities must meet four overarching standards: maintain a tree board or department, have a community tree ordinance, spend at least $2 per capita on urban forestry, and celebrate Arbor Day.</p><p><strong><a href="https://www.gallatinwatershedcouncil.org/branchoutbozeman" target="_blank">Branch of Bozeman</a>&nbsp;</strong>is a collaboration between the City of Bozeman and the Gallatin Watershed Council that aims&nbsp;to enhance Bozeman's tree canopy through plantings that address water quality, social equity, and urban heat islands, and additional plantings will continue throughout the year.
