The Bozeman Public Library will celebrate the close of the 2026 Children’s Summer Learning Program with a fun-filled Cirquepalooza on Friday, Aug. 14, from 10 to noon, on the Library front lawn. Children from birth to age 11 and their caregivers will create circus-themed art, race hobby horses around an agility course, investigate explosive science, feast on cotton candy, bedeck themselves in temporary tattoos, face paint, and Victorian mustaches, attempt feats of derring-do, and more.
406Cirque and Mountain Air Dance will perform circus and aerial acts throughout the event. Museum of the Rockies will present their strangest fossils and curiosities. Tinworks Art invites kids to make circus masks and Random Acts of Silliness’s monster puppet Roxie will tell fortunes. Athletes from Forge Fitness will perform feats of strength.
“Cirquepalooza celebrates the joyful learning and reading of our community’s children this summer,” Ellie Newell, Youth Services Department Head, said. “Every kid is invited to join the library circus.”
Cirquepalooza is funded by the generous donors of the Bozeman Library Friends and Foundation and supported by partner organizations Mountain Air Dance, Tinworks Art, Random Acts of Silliness, and Forge Fitness.
This program is open to the public and free of cost. Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, bus, or carpool to the Library, as parking is anticipated to be tight.
