Two Road Closures Beginning August 24

Post Date:08/20/2026

Heads up, neighbors! Two road closures will begin August 24, 2026.

Construction continues for the intersection improvement at Oak Street and Ferguson Avenue. From August 24 through 26, Ferguson will be completely closed, while one lane of traffic will stay open on Oak Street in each direction. Please use detours and travel safely. Crews will mill and pave the road during these three days. This work is part of a broader project to add turn lanes, update the traffic signal to include a left turn, and improve ADA access for sidewalks. These key improvements will make Oak and Ferguson safer for everyone who travels through this area.

McIlhattan Road will be fully closed from Manley Road to Story Mill Road from August 24 to early November. The road is closed to through traffic, but there will still be access to Valley View Veterinary Hospital. The City of Bozeman is repairing and paving McIlhattan Road to support the future development of Bikefill Park.
