On May 18, 2026, at approximately 7:23 pm, officers with the Bozeman Police Department were dispatched to the 2700 block of Turbulence Ln for a reported Weapons Disturbance. Upon arrival and investigation, the call turned into a barricaded-suspect incident, and the Gallatin Valley SWAT team was requested. Due to the severity of the alleged crimes, officers evacuated numerous residents from the immediate area for safety concerns.
After several hours of non-compliance from the suspect, the Gallatin Valley SWAT team utilized tools to gain compliance from the suspect, who was ultimately taken into custody peacefully. No injuries were reported in this incident.
The suspect was taken into custody and faces charges of Assault with a Weapon – felony, Partner Family Members Assault (2nd Offense) – misdemeanor, Failure to Register as a Sexual or Violent Offender – felony and Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Convicted Person – felony. The suspect is currently being held without bond for the listed offenses.
