How Projects Come Together

Most affordable housing projects are built through a combination of tools, partners, and funding sources. One project may rely on local funding to close a gap, federal tax credits to bring in larger subsidies, a housing partner to build or manage the homes, and long-term affordability requirements to keep the units below market rate over time.
