Comcate Connect AI Pilot Program

Phone Number: 406-582-2222

Neighborhood Services is piloting a six-month trial program of Comcate Connect, a voice AI agent that supports the Neighborhood Services team by providing immediate, accurate, 24/7 answers to resident questions about schedules, ordinances, and services. The Quality of Life line, 406-582-2222, now directs to Comcate Connect. This pilot program is limited to Neighborhood Services, and all other city phone lines are currently manned by humans. Comcate Connect submits issues to code enforcement officers for review and action, allowing staff to consistently engage directly with the community. If you’d prefer to speak directly with Neighborhood Services staff, the team will still respond to calls when they are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Neighborhood Services’ goal in implementing Comcate Connect is to save staff time and streamline efficiencies through reducing routine staff inquiries and ensuring faster resident responses and more consistent service delivery across departments. We welcome your feedback on this new program!

The Neighborhood Services Department supports the overall quality of life in the City of Bozeman by overseeing two key operational areas: the Code Compliance Division and the Parking Division. Together, these divisions help ensure that Bozeman’s neighborhoods, streets, and public spaces remain safe, accessible, and well-maintained for all residents and visitors.

Code Compliance Officers are responsible for enforcing city codes throughout Bozeman, including Ordinance 2172 (English - PDF or Spanish - PDF), which regulates activities in the public right-of-way. Their work helps address a broad range of concerns—from property maintenance to land-use regulations—to keep our community safe, healthy, and welcoming.

Parking Enforcement Officers enforce parking regulations citywide and collaborate closely with other Departments within the City of Bozeman to address issues affecting the use of public rights of way.

As a city, we are committed to maintaining clean, safe, and vibrant neighborhoods. The Neighborhood Services Department provides a centralized point of contact for residents to report non-emergency Parking or Code Compliance concerns and to access helpful information about maintaining community standards.

We encourage residents to reach out to our department whenever they have questions or wish to report an issue. Click one of the buttons above to learn more or find contact information.
