Splash Pad Rules
Safety First!
- No lifeguard or attendant on duty.
- Responsible adults should always be in attendance with child.
- Don’t use or play on the splash pad when lightning or thunder is in the area.
- Appropriate footwear is recommended.
Prohibited on or near splash pad
- Alcohol and tobacco products
- Food or gum
- Glass or any breakable or hazardous materials
- Offensive or unsanitary behavior
- Running, climbing or rough play
- Bikes, roller blades, skates, or skateboards
- Animals on or near the splash pad
- Bathing, soap, detergent, or shampoo
- Spray features use chlorinated, recircled water; don’t pour anything down the drains including sand, woodchips, food, etc.
Health and Sanitation Rules
- Shower before entering splash pad.
- Individuals with diarrhea or disease transmittable by water shall not use the splash pad.
- Children who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper covered by waterproof pants with elasticized openings for the waist and legs.
- Do not change diapers on or near the splash pad.
**DO NOT DRINK SPLASH PAD WATER**
