The City of Bozeman is proud to lead Montana in offering municipal organics collections for composting.
This service replaces the previous seasonal yard waste/compost collection and now includes year-round collection of food scraps, food soiled paper goods, and yard waste. With this service, you'll receive both a kitchen tote and a curbside tote to make composting easy and convenient.
What You’ll Receive When You Sign Up:- A 35- or 95-gallon tote for your organics collection.
- A kitchen pail and compostable bags for easy food scrap disposal.
- Weekly curbside pickup for your organics.
- A Guide to Organics Collection (PDF), which provides detailed information on what can be placed in your organics tote, tips for maintaining efficiency, how to keep your kitchen pail clean, and more.
